Director Statement
It was a privilege to be welcomed into the La Perouse community and to capture a glimpse of their journey. Through this project, I had the opportunity to hear incredible stories and connect with brilliant individuals whose passion and resilience shine through.
Being entrusted with telling this story was an honour, and I wanted to showcase it in the most authentic and uplifting way possible. I hope this film resonates with you as deeply as the experience of creating it did for me.
Selected as part of the First Nations Spotlight Shorts program traveling to regional locations including Darwin, Broome, and Byron Bay.
